Rosie the Riveter Trust stands in solidarity with and in defense of our fellow Americans who have suffered and are currently suffering from racial inequality and oppression. This is a pivotal moment in American history sparked by George Floyd’s death. Yet, in the words of Betty Reid Soskin, "History is what happens to us every day; that we are all making history."

The Trust is committed to sharing diverse perspectives of the WWII home front story with a priority to restore critical missing chapters of history. Though we are in the midst of significant social upheaval, we can still find hope that this difficult time is an opportunity to seek unity, address ongoing racism, and create meaningful, compassionate and lasting change.
